Jodi Pierce shared, “Over the course of the school, we dug deep into who God is and how each of us is created to serve Him. We learned about the Global Youth Culture and put together impactful creative evangelism projects, taking them to the streets of nearby Dresden and starting discipleship relationships with those we met. Throughout all of it, God worked mightily and we all went home changed."
The students will be returning to 32 different cities around the world “Two things really blew my mind here. The first was the family - the friends that I’ve made. It’s the best thing. I think we all need community, but to really be loved as I am, with no expectations other than to be myself has been incredible. The second thing is how God just met me as His son. He took my heart and made me feel safe in trusting Him as a father. I can’t really explain it, but He’s my father and I’m His son, and I’m just melting in His presence.” - Justin (Minneapolis, USA)
Leaders washed the students’ feet during the powerful commissioning ceremony “One of the things I’ve learned here is how to be a true disciple of Jesus. I’ve been challenged to be ready to be obedient and to be committed to leave everything behind - because I am part of a heavenly Kingdom. I don’t truly possess anything here, and when I let go of my earthly desires, I can gain whatever God has for me, which is infinitely better.” - Mark (Krákow, Poland)

God Moves Powerfully in Marseille, France!
“Give me your loaves and fish, and I will multiply them.” These were the words Marseille City Team Leaders, Alexis and María heard from God as they struggled to pull together the first-ever Steiger Impact Trip in their city. They obeyed. And multiply He did. Throughout the week, 49 different people took part in the training - then after seeking God desperately each day, the group hit the streets. The impact of one outreach in particular is still being multiplied now.
Alexis and María used the book of James to train students in relational evangelismThe group performed a powerful flash mob in the square of Cours Julion - a creative young neighborhood in Marseille - where they illustrated and explained the death and resurrection of Jesus. “One man, Arslan, came up to me after and shared that he is a communist activist and he really liked the show,” María said. “I shared the true meaning of the performance, and we spoke about real freedom and love. He liked our perspective about these values and said, ‘I’m tired of all those artists who make empty art with no purpose. I like that your art has a real meaning and purpose behind it.’ He then invited Alexis and I for an interview on his radio show, and to do the performance again and preach in the biggest cultural center in Marseille called La Friche. We’re now preparing to do an outreach there on Halloween!”
How incredible that these opportunities would come through a communist activist with a radio show! Only God could do something like that. Please pray that He continues to open the doors to make these things happen and that He would multiply the impact as only He can.
