International Newsletter February 2010
Dear Friends,
In August of last year our ministry No Longer Music did an evangelistic concert in the center of Helsinki, Finland. We performed during the "Night of Art" in front of hundreds of alternative students, goths, punks and metal kids. I went for a prayer walk before the concert and saw that all the corners of the buildings were used as a toilet and there were streams of urine on the sidewalks from all the drunken people. Yet God moved powerfully that night and I really felt the Holy Spirit in my preaching. Afterwards all the members of our team had long conversations with many who were moved by the message they heard and everyone was really encouraged by what God did that night in Helsinki.
Since then two of our Steiger missionaries - Ania Sochacka and Mihau Cupial - (along with other local Finnish young people), have started an alternative church service in the city.
They are now planning an evangelistic outreach during a big national holiday called "Vappu". It is a time when everyone in Helsinki gets drunk and has wild street parties. The idea is to do some sort of alternative, crowd-drawing drama/performance throughout the city center and preach afterwards.
We are also preparing a No Longer Music Show for the Middle East. A team from Istanbul, Turkey has been advising us on the best creative way to present the Gospel in that part of the world. In addition to this, we are planning an extensive evangelistic concert tour in Poland and Germany. These evangelistic concerts will be held mainly in big outdoor venues in city centers. I believe that many thousands of young people will hear about Jesus for the first time during this tour.
Luke & Ania Greenwood who lead our second No Longer Music team are also planning similar evangelistic/church planting tours in South America later this year.
Lastly, we are working on getting a key family from the Middle East to our Radical Missions School in Germany held in April and May. Please pray that we are able to overcome all the legal issues involved in obtaining a visa and for financial sponsors. Pray also for Gods protection over this family.
On a personal note, our son Ben was married to a beautiful girl, Courtney Anderson, in New Zealand on January 23. I led the ceremony and it was a very special and emotional time for me to be able to marry my son. Something I was able to do with our other son Aaron as well.
We are REALLY grateful and humbled by your years of faithful support!
Pray that we can boldly preach the gospel and not waste the opportunities God has given us all over the world.
For the lost,
David & Jodi Pierce

Prayer Needs
- Pray for the team that will helping Jodi during the Radical Missions Training School that begins on the 6th of April near Dresden Germany: David & Melissa Mettler, Kristin Reed, Ania Sochacka, Phil Shorey, Janet Schmidt, and Ben Pierce are on the school team.
- Please continue to pray for Michael Sengle who is working with the bank and owner of the property we are seeking to purchase for our International Headquarters and Missionary Training Center. We are still in negotiations over the property, which is located near Dresden, Germany. This center will be a place to train, equip and release apostolic creative church planting all over the world. So I guess its no wonder that it has been a fight. Pray that God gives Michael wisdom in this whole process.
- Pray that God gives me His anointing and the right message everywhere I speak during my speaking tour in New Zealand and Australia.
- Continue to pray for Kate Gilmor and the international office. We urgently need missionary administrators, graphic designers and event managers.
