São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Join our Steiger Brazil City Teams for 10 days of creatively and passionately sharing the Gospel on the streets of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro during Brazil's Carnival - one of the most secular festivals in the world.
This trip is especially for people 22-40 years old who love the lost as Jesus loves them, and who are not easily impressed by extremely secularized environments. Please be prepared for lots of walking, standing in the heat, and large crowds.
What to Expect (international participants):
- Arrive in São Paulo on February 9, 2024.
- Spend 3 days in São Paulo, seeking God, serving a local church, and bringing the Gospel to the carnival streets.
- Travel to Rio de Janeiro on February 12, 2024.
- Spend 3 days in Rio de Janeiro, seeking God, bringing the Gospel to the carnival streets, and having a day of fellowship.
- Return to São Paulo on February 15, 2024.
- Visit a Steiger Community House, bring the Gospel to the carnival streets, and participate in Steiger Brazil's Manifeste Festival - where you'll hear from frontline missionaries about reaching the Global Youth Culture.
- Depart on February 18, 2024.
Trip Cost:
The total cost of the trip is $1,025* and includes housing, food, and local travel expenses. It does not include travel expenses from and to your home country/city (you'll need to make those travel arrangements on your own).
*This cost is based on the 8/29/2023 exchange rate and will be updated if/when the exchange rate changes in 2024.
Important Information:
For some countries, a visa to enter Brazil may be mandatory. Be sure to apply if needed. If necessary, we will send an invitation letter or documents that can help with the visa application. Beginning October 2023, Americans and Canadians will need a visa to enter Brazil.
