We started the day with bad news; Ge Vang was in the hospital again with cellulitis symptoms, and our trailer was badly broken and needed to be hauled to Kiev for repair. So after a quick meeting the truck crew departed for the capital, while we headed east to the next city.
After driving 60 kilometers, we had an intense prayer time, interceding for Ge that he would be healed from this sickness, and learned quickly afterward that he was getting better after being taken to a different hospital.
We had rented the same stage from our previous show in Dnipropetrovsk, and it was already set up when we arrived, which greatly reduced the stress of it all. It was a big public square, with the stage set in front of a platform previously occupied by a statue of Lenin.
When we arrived David did an interview with the local television station and was able to explain in detail why we were there and how much Jesus loved the city. Around four thousand people crowded into the square when we began!
David and Misha preached boldly and clearly from the stage, and hands shot up all over the crowd at the invitation to pray to receive Jesus.
The fight continues, but so do the victories! The kingdom of God is advancing in Ukraine, thank you for your prayers!!
Next, we drive 8 1/2 hours to Kiev, where we hope to reunite with our stage trailer and the rest of our team.
