After hours of travailing treacherous Ukrainian roads, we arrived in the southern city of Kherson. The venue was a large parking lot next to a giant shopping center, where we met to pray while waiting for the truck and trailer to arrive.
After a very quick setup, Nuteki took the stage, and hundreds of people had gathered for the show.
The crowd was very engaged, and their show was great, except for Dima (Bass) hitting Misha (Vocals) in the head with his bass guitar. The first of the night’s injuries.
We started around 8:45, and during one of the first songs one of the guys from our camera crew lost his balance and fell backward off a drum riser, cutting his leg.
By the end of the concert almost 1000 people had gathered and heard the preaching. David and Misha shared about the love of Jesus, and many people responded by raising their hands and praying to receive Christ.
Please continue to pray for Ge Vang who is recovering, but in the hospital still. He will meet up with us in the next city. Thanks for your prayers and support!
